Toy Drive

Through toy and monetary donations, ChicagoToyDrive.org takes donated toys, purchases additional toys and donates them to less priviliged kids from the chicagoland area and hosts a great holiday kids party.

If you are unable to drop off a toy donation, please consider donating $5, 10, or $20 dollars. All proceeds are used directly to fund toy purchases or pay for kids holiday party expenditures.

El Hogar Del Nino

For 37 years, the mission of El Hogar del Niño continues to be one which is for and about children—assessing their needs and finding ways to meet those needs. Currently, the organization serves over 300 children through its toddler, head start, early head start, day care, preschool, early childhood development and after school programs. Parents receive early childhood parenting and development education as well as medical services, and the entire family benefits from a comprehensive network of services including employment, education and health. In addition, the Family Case Management program serves eligible pregnant women, infants, and children.

Little Village Boys and Girls Club

The Little Village Club serves the heart of the South Lawndale community, also known as Little Village. The community includes a large population of Mexican descent. The injection of Latino culture gives the Little Village neighborhood its vibrant and distinct character today. Little Village is the retail, residential and cultural capital of the Mexican community in the Midwest.

Over the past 30 years, Little Village has become a major port of entry for Mexican immigrants, and the community has been strengthened by the economic power, traditions, determination and hope that they bring. While solid housing stock and thriving commercial districts have been key to the community's prosperity, the neighborhood is challenged to invest in its human resources—in particular the youth in the community. Half of the residents are under the age of 25, creating a demand for better support for education, recreation programs and other social services. The Little Village Club offers a comprehensive array of programs and services to young people of all ages in the community. In addition, the Club partners with local community organizations to enhance programs for young people.

General Robert E. Wood Boys and Girls Club

The General Wood Club serves the South Lawndale community, also known as Little Village, which primarily services a Latino community.

The General Wood Club responds to that need by offering a wide array of programs in our five core program areas. In addition to our traditional programs, the Wood Club also is also home to Community Links High School, a unique Chicago Public School with a 100% graduation rate and a better than 85% success rate of college placement for its graduates which is supported by our College Bound program.

Near North Health Service Center

Near North Health Service Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). It is one of the largest providers of community-based primary care in Chicago. We provide health care, social services and nutrition education to the medically indigent and uninsured residents of the Near North side (Cabrini Green), West Town, Humboldt Park, West Garfield Park, Austin, Kenwood/Oakland, Douglas and Grand Boulevard, and Uptown communities.

Near North Health Service Corporation (NNHSC) targets a primary service area that is spread across many of Chicago's 77 community areas, encompassing a population of more than 1,500,000. A full array of primary care clinical services and comprehensive social support programs are provided through six Near North community-based health centers. While disparate, NNHSC communities are characterized by large concentrations of CHA high rise apartments, abandoned residential buildings, blighted commercial properties, and an utter absence of basic services and health care resources.
